Growing up in Trinidad and Tobago, my interest in politics has been shaped by my country's oil-and-gas based economy, its persistent problem with crime, and Venezuela (our closest neighbour).
My studies in Mathematics and Government at Dartmouth College, along with my experience working in political research, corporate strategy, and NGO management, have furthered my desire to understand politics, violence, and Caribbean security.
